Water engineering
Stones for water engineering or armor stones are used for bank stabilization and the design of rivers and streams. In order to ensure a durable design of water bodies, armour stones are subject to special weight and size classes. The goal is to prevent bank reinforcement, embankments or watercourses from eroding or changing. Protection against unwanted water impacts is the goal.
